APC Talks About Yahaya Bello Choosing Atiku Over Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disputed claims that Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has withheld his support for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The APC called the claim “false news” in a statement issued on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to reports, Yahaya Bello has resigned from the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council and is willing to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

According to a source who talked with the Sunday Tribune, Governor Bello’s stance could be due to state political maneuverings ahead of the November governorship race.

According to the source, Bello, the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, has withdrawn his support for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, because the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, James Faleke, may run for the party’s governorship ticket.

In response, the ruling party described the article as purposefully untrue and a fiction of its author’s and sponsors’ imaginations.

Governor Yahaya Bello, according to the APC, is a solid, resourceful, and passionate Tinubu campaigner.
