The Grammy-winning Nigerian musician gave his wife, the singer Chioma Rowland, a Richard Mille watch and four designer handbags for her birthday.
On April 30th, Chioma reportedly turned 28 years old.
In honor of his wife, Davido posted a video on his Instagram account in which he displayed the lavish presents he had purchased for her.
The gifts included a bouquet of flowers and a Richard Mille watch in addition to three Hermes Birkin bags and one Chanel purse.
Hermes is a French luxury goods company, and a Birkin bag may cost anywhere from $11,000 to $380,000.
Richard Mille is a Swiss luxury watchmaker, and like Chanel, they specialize in making extremely expensive mechanical timepieces.
In a film that accompanied their announcement, the couple wore identical Richard Mille wristwatches.
In the past, Davido has used the word “timeless” to express how he feels about Chioma.
He declared, “I merely wish to commemorate my right hand!” What I always turn to! Greetings on your first year of life! Have a blessed day. Your love lasts forever. I promise you, this time it’s for good.
