Maria Chike Benjamin, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija’s ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, admitted she felt humiliated after falsely accusing Apostle Selman, the founder of Eternity Network International (ENI), of infidelity.
We recall that in 2022, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, was accused of having a romantic relationship with Maria along with other female Nollywood stars.
Apostle Joshua Selman tweeted earlier this year, “May you experience Mind Blowing Miracles this new week, IJN”
Maria responded to the tweet by saying “amen” to the apostle’s prayer before challenging a rumored claim that she had an affair with him.
The reality star called the rumor “funny” because she and her companion thought it was hilarious.
She uttered, “Amen! I’m sorry, man of God, are you the person they say I had a relationship with? I mean no offense, but my partner and I just laughed aloud! Amen. May God be with you. Please don’t take offense; I found you through a retweet.

Maria quickly deleted the tweet and apologized to the clergyman after realizing there had been a misunderstanding regarding the spelling of Apostle Selman.
“I stand corrected,” she wrote. I apologize for the names I mispronounced or got wrong. Please, in the goodness of your heart, pardon my innocent tweet. Stay blessed.
Speaking recently in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Maria claimed she made the mistake of incorrectly associating Apostle Selman with another clergyman and that she was unaware of this.
The reality television star claimed that she felt humiliated for incorrectly accusing a man of God who has nothing to do with the allegations.
